I am currently in pre-production for a short film entitled, “Vegan Love”, which will complete my graduation project at the London Film School. It is a romantic comedy about a vegan man’s quest to meet a vegan girl. My planned shooting date is September 13th, 2008. I will receive approximately £3300 from the school toward my film budget. However, I am shooting with a Red camera rental and other high-end production equipment (please see budget blog) that has exceeded the school’s standard budget, in favor of my “quality added” production budget. I have determined that I will need an additional £1400/$2800 to make the film. So, as of today I am starting a 30-day fundraiser to raise the money needed from public donations to reach my goal. If you share my concern about promoting the vegan lifestyle, you will appreciate this film. I am not asking for more than I need, £1/$1 will help.
